![]() I've also done it by disconnecting the external monitor, forcing to switch to the laptop display, and then reconnecting it. However, this doesn't always work and I sometimes need to logoff/logon to bring it back. ![]() I can usually restore it by enabling and then disabling autohide, or enabling taskbar to display on all monitors (using 2), or moving it to the top/right/left and then back to the bottom. Explorer does not crash as any other folders I have open don't go away. Sometimes the menu comes up and it's cut off at the bottom, like if it is partially off the screen. Sometimes there is space underneath the Start menu where the taskbar would be. The Start menu still comes up when I press the Windows key. It doesn't "slide down" like autohide does, it just disappears. ![]() I do not have autohide enabled, and explorer is not crashing. I'm seeing an issue where the taskbar just disappears.
